About me and my blog

My name is Tyler Robinson, and I am a talented artist based in San Francisco California who strives to provide beauty through art. I am a graduate from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and a concentration in painting.

This blog serves to keep me focused and active in my art career. I will occasionally post sketches, works in progress, random thoughts or ideas on my work and sometimes finished pieces. To view Finished work visit my website:

The paintings I post on this blog are mostly from my Arcadia series where I explore the idea of what a futurist dystopian/Utopian society would look like. The idea of hybrids is where I began. I wanted to start by showing how these hybrids are made and from there I was inspired to show distinctive aspects and details of this new society and the hybrids that inhabit it. Through a combination of paintings, drawing and prints I want to investigate the idea of individuality, freedom, repression, advanced technology, artificial life and the impact of technology on the human mind.
